Template Settings allow you to change areas of your webstore. These could be: 1. Text areas for welcome messages, update messages, etc. 2. Toggles for certain functionality. E.g. flickering/bouncing logo. 3. Colour pickers for background/text/etc. colours. In the default PlayerLands templates, there are a variety of template settings that you can edit. When making a template, you can add in your own template settings. For more on the technical aspects of creating a template that is best for you/your clients, click here.
Navigate to: 1. Stores. 2. The store you want to edit the template settings of.
Click customize webstore and click on the tab at the top of the panel entitled template settings.
From here, you will see a list of all the template settings for your store. In the case of the default PlayerLands Dusk template, the first template is store logo. Inputting a URL for an image will update the logo image on your webstore.
It is worth spending a bit of time familiarizing yourself with which template setting changes what on your webstore, and configuring it to look exactly how you want.
The text template settings support both HTML and Markdown. This allows for you to make your webstore look exactly how you want without needing the more technical knowledge that is required when making a custom template.
A bit of an aside here, but when commissioning custom templates, you should ensure that any fields that you want to be customizable are added as a template setting. You should inform your designer of this when you ask them to make a template for you.
